After completing my residency in obstetrics and gynecology at a Yale University affiliated hospital in 1983, I practiced as a specialist in women’s health for over 30 years. During that time, I trained in Functional Medicine, providing nutritional and lifestyle counseling and complementary therapies to my patients. I’ve worked with indigenous women in Wyoming and New Zealand and returned to Colorado in 2009. I founded Journey 2 Life in 2010 and started The Colorado Dementia Prevention and Treatment Center and a Phone Consult Nursing Center. Teaching the public, industry personnel, physicians and healthcare providers has become a passion. I am proud to introduce the practitioners featured on this website as part of Journey 2 Life.

Fifty and Change was developed by Dr. Joe Cohen and is the culmination of over 30-years’ experience having specialized in Women’s Health and Functional Medicine.
